Xuanxu Chen

Before Xuanxu moved to Seattle to begin his career with MDA, he’s lived in China, Canada, and Arkansas. He earned his Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Arkansas and has compiled design experience in both new and remodel constructions, specifically Education and Municipal projects.

As a Job Captain, Xuanxu is responsible for projects beginning with programming through construction documents and construction administration; coordinating with city officials and consultants while working with the client to accomplish the design goals. He stays involved with the local design community by regularly meeting with industry groups and traveling to find interior design and architecture inspiration.

When the sun is shining in Seattle, you can find Xuanxu enjoying the outdoors, hiking, golfing, or riding motorcycles. His next hobby adventure is learning how to sail.
