Shivani Patel

Shivani earned her Bachelor of Architecture from Gujarat University and became a licensed architect in India. Her educational pursuit continued when she moved to Canada, and eventually, the United States where she became a certified LEED Green Associate. She gained valuable experience as a drafting technician and junior architect before joining the MDA team.

Shivani now works on architecture and interior design within our Indianapolis animal care project team. She is closely tied to projects from construction through completion. Her day-to-day includes meeting with clients, engineers, contractors, and company reps, while also handling drawing sets, making site visits, and completing building permit due diligence.

When Shivani isn’t in the office, she loves spending time with her family and dog, Lily. Spending time in nature, painting, listening to music, and swimming are just a few of her hobbies that she enjoys outside of work.
