New York City, New York

Pure Paws Veterinary Care

Overview

Being situated in one of the busiest cities in the world where space and time are limited, the design for Pure Paws Veterinary Care needed to help mitigate the many challenges you’d expect to encounter with animal care in NYC. The existing space on the first floor of a high-rise building was renovated and utilized to maximum capacity – allowing for five exam rooms, back-of-house treatment spaces, surgery suites, digital imaging, pack prep, isolation, and a dental treatment room. With all these services comfortably situated in the building, the practice can fully capitalize on its prime location and focus on delivering the highest quality care.

Pure Paws interior design creates a welcoming haven for pets and people away from the hustle and bustle. Pet-friendly photography – curated specifically for the client – lines the walls of the space. Connecting with the community and prioritizing a relaxed experience was a main priority when developing the design. Aligned with this, the iconic Hudson River was a major design inspiration, seen through the curved, simple design features and a calming color palette.
