MD Architects Wins dvm360’s Veterinary Hospital Design of the Year
Indianapolis, IN – July 29, 2024 –
MD Architects, a leading animal care architecture firm, is proud to announce that it has been awarded the respected Hospital Design of the Year award and a Merit Award by dvm360. This honor recognizes MD Architects’ elevated work and expertise in designing state-of-the-art, fully functional animal care spaces.
Winner of the Merit Award, Pure Paws Veterinary Care, is an animal hospital located in the heart of New York City. The general practice’s design process took careful consideration in navigating the bustling streets of the city and strict regulations and codes. The MDA team developed a facility that elevated the care Pure Paws staff could provide and a design that further connected the business to the community with its inspiration of the iconic Hudson River.
Winning Hospital of the Year, the design of Habitat Veterinary Hospital stood out amongst numerous competitors for its emphasis on human and animal well-being, integration of functional spaces, advanced equipment, and infectious disease isolation controls. With the building’s smaller footprint, the multi-use indoor and outdoor spaces allowed for every inch to be optimized, enhancing workflow and functionality for the staff of Habitat.
