Four Day Ray Brewery
Overview
The client wanted a building and design that was new and different. They envisioned incorporating elements that paid homage to the Roaring ’20s and Prohibition-era American manufacturing and railroad times.
The restaurant area’s 21-foot ceiling height posed a challenge for our team, but we embraced the unique component with the structure, lighting, sculptural “beams,” and sound system equipment. This space features a complete brewing and canning facility onsite, as well as a large kitchen and restaurant.
Visitors to the Nickel Plate District can easily spot FDR from a distance by the signature grain silo located on the top of the building.

Rick and the team at MD Architects were true partners in the planning, design and construction process. The MD team embraced the many challenges of designing an attractive and highly functional mixed-use building on a small site in the Nickel Plate District of Fishers.
